Smaller cousins of the greenskins march to war alongside the towering Orc warriors, the most fearsome of which go to war with great polearms and the heaviest armour an Orc can wear. An Orc warband is like a sea of green.
Orcs are among the vilest of all creatures; evil beings created for war. They delight in destruction, and all their essence is bent towards violence, mind and body. The most bloodthirsty Orcs take to the field riding beasts of war, allowing them to close with the enemy quicker.
No horse will allow an Orc anywhere near it, so they employ beasts with temperaments more in line with their own. Orcs ride Gores, massively muscled porcine creatures boasting large tusks and skulls even thicker than those of Orcs, heavy and ill-tempered, their weight is enough to crush a fully-armoured man. Gores are beasts bred for one purpose - war.
Fast, agile and furious to behold, these war-beasts make great ferocious cavalry for the Orcs. Many an enemy has turned tail and fled when they sight ranks of Gore Riders on the horizon. Not that running is a good idea - Gores can run for many miles without tiring.
